A day in Las Vegas

I just got back from Las Vegas last night and let me tell you, I had a blast! I loved the strip and all the people, and there is so much to do there! I am for sure going back to Vegas when I turn 21 :)

Most people in Vegas have dark hair and A LOT of tattoos! Even though it's not my style, I still enjoyed people watching and getting to see many different styles.

While I was there I decided to get a fake tattoo, just to see what is was like! :) Overall, I stuck to my own style and I even put a little Vegas twist into one outfit. (you'll see below)

Here are a few of my outfits that I wore while I was in Vegas! Enjoy.

Fashion Star

Hunter Bell
One of my favorite TV shows, Fashion Star, came to an end on Friday night and I am very pleased and excited about the winner (designer) of the show! The lovely lady is Hunter Bell and she is an amazing designer! She now gets a $3 million contract with  EXPRESS, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy's and will have her collection in each store. It's pretty exciting and I can't wait to see what she does in the future! Snaps for Hunter Bell!!

Hunter Bell designs
I strongly encourage you to google Hunter Bell's name and her brand. She is truly amazing and she designs for not only one body type, but for many different shapes and sizes!

These dresses can be ordered online at Express.com

Be bold

I used a brown powder from Sephora to get this look.

Marc Jacobs model rockin the bold eyebrows

Do you want to be bold??
Well, bold eyebrows are officially in. Bold eyebrows are showing up in ads, on the runway, and on celebrities! I liked the look of bold and strong eyebrows, so I decided to try it on myself and I absolutely adore the look. Go ahead and try it on yourself! It may not be for everyone, but you can always experiment and see what looks good on you. I use a brown powder from Sephora to fill in my eyebrows.

Trending now- Sheer dresses & skirts

Get on trend and look at these cute high-low sheer dresses! They are perfect for spring and summer! I just bought a sheer maxi skirt at Stella's boutique and I got a lot of compliments on it today. The great thing about this trend is that it can be dressed up or down and it's always classy. So I urge you to check out Express.com, asos.com, and polyvore.com because they have this look! Happy shopping everyone :)

Top knot hairstyle

Street style topknot

As you probably know, sock buns were a hit last year. (Especially during rush week.) But I'm here to tell you that a new high hairstyle is taking over the runways, being worn by models & celebrities, and being worn by people in everyday life! It's called the TOPKNOT and it does not require a sock. It's simple, sexy, and it gets your hair off your face and neck! It can also be worn as a sleek or messy hairstyle. So, go ahead and try it out! You won't be disappointed :) Also feel free to youtube or google the top knot hairstyle for inspiration or instructions.

Prom Days & TIps

Now that I am a freshman in college, I've come to the sad conclusion that I can't go to prom anymore. When I say high school is the best time of your life, I mean it. Now don't get me wrong, college is fun and a new adventure, but you don't have proms or homecoming in college. Bummer. I really feel like I should be going to prom this weekend!!

Anyways, to all my girls going to prom this weekend or in the next few weeks, I hope you have a fabulous time! If you don't have a dress yet (don't panic), keep in mind you can find a nice classy dress anywhere online or at a store near you.  I recommend http://www.renttherunway.com ! You can rent a dress at a reasonable cost! Honestly I wish I would have rented my prom dresses because you really won't wear your dress ever again (especially if it's a long dress).
So as you're getting ready for prom, remember to stay and look classy! Showing too much skin can give a wrong impression. My senior year prom dress was from BCBG and it was simply stunning and classy with just a few body cutouts.
Tips-
1. Keep your makeup simple, yet stunning. Try something new or daring, but I would stray away from any clown looking makeup. Note-  Fake eyelashes are fun to wear too!
2. Wear a long dress because you can only wear a long dress so many times in life!
3. Try something new with your hair! Updos are great for prom.
4. If your dress is blingy or bedazzled, you don't need to accessorize! By adding more jewelry, it will take away from your fabulous dress.
5. Simple jewelry is always flattering. Keep it simple and don't overdo it.
6. HAVE FUN and enjoy your prom days!
